Carmen Leah is a Toronto-based figurative painter whose work is defined by bold colour, expressive brushwork and a surreal-pop sensibility.

Her work explores desire, vulnerability, transformation and the freedom that comes from not asking for permission.

She has been making and exhibiting art since 2006, alongside a career as an art director, designer and illustrator.
